Message Abstract Forwards bill for lumber &c. used in construction of school-house at Centreville, to the amount of $353.48 Requests that aid be granted to a larger amount than $200. [...] Respectfully forwarded to Genl. H. M. Whittlesey, A. A. A. General, with request that $250. be appropriated to aid in building this school-house. Message Body Sir Enclosed I send you the Lumber bill. In it is included the Hardware Lime & Hair etc. as the same man furnished all. The bill is a large one but I do not know as it could have been procured cheaper. If any more than 200$ can be given by the Bureau please assist us as the people are not able to do very much at present.
