Message Body You will please excuse me for not writing to you sooner than now I have been sick so that I could not attend to the [??]. I state to you that Mr. E.H. Monteith sent us an order to the lumber merchant to furnish us the lumber for a school house 30 by 40 and specified in the order all the different sizes of lumber necessary for a building of the said size house he also promised to give us the other materials needed for the house and forward to us to send a vessel and order by the captain and the other materials wouldbe sent to us and we have got the cash for the windows We would have had the house completed if we could have got the other materials so that the School could have commenced the first of October. The carpenters could not begin to work until they [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] got the frames for windows & [[strikethrough]] dor [[/strikethrough]] doors the lumber merchant says they cannot alter the size of the bill as it is now filled up according to order from the Bureau You will please write to me your conclusion
