Message Body | I drop you a few lines hoping they will find you injoying the blessing of good health Dear Sir I received your letter Stating that you would send us a colored teacher to teach for us for three month namely July August & September I have mention the same to our people & so far they are in favour of the resolution You can write to George White one of the trustees of the colored school in Dames Quarter & he will give you an answer to the same I also State to you that our School house is finished exept the plastering you will please let me know when you can come over so that we can notify the same so as to have a large gathering on that occasion Maj W.L. Vanderlip was over heare a few week ago & saw our School house and I wrote & sent you a letter by him concerning our School house you will please write and let me heare from you |
