Abstract | Ishennic, Esther on 1/1 thence thereafter. Senegal, Lucy, Scipio & Hannah. Manumitted & Ishennic & Esther to swell in spiining house for rest of natural lives. Piece of ground to be cleared & enclosed for them & to have a milk cow & whaterve necessaries executors think proper to have; to be supplied w/ timber wood to be supported by son Robert's estate if can't support themselves. Senegal & Lucy his wife to dwell in hosue they now live in & to be given 2 acres of land on east side of plantation, a cow & pasturing, & liberty of "getting old & down wood for their firing." Scipio the house where he now dwells 7 ground surrounding being 1 or 2 acres, a cow & pasturing for same & liberty of getting firewood from tract Barwood. Liberties to all depending on their future behavior & supporting of good character. Also are not to rent or sell the lands left to them. See next entry. |
