Abstract born early part of year 1841 to be free & discharged from all manner of servitude at & from Christmas day 1862 when he will be fully 21 yo, if I should die before that time; but if I outlive that time it is my will that he be free at my death; if I die before Christmas day 1862 I give Levi Johns to my nephew Joseph Thomas Bartlett (son of my brother Johnathan Bartlett to serve him until he is free by my will & require him to pay said negro $20 on day he is free.
