Message Abstract States that the church at Eddsvill, in which a colored school was taught by Mr. [[underlined]] Ball [[/underlined]] was accidentally destroyed by fire on the 17th inst. Inquires if the teacher can remain and keep school in a private house.
Message Body My Very Dear Sir this will inform you that Mr. Mason Ball has loast his Scholl House by fier it take fier on the Thursday Eavun 17 a bout 7. O CLock form a spark or Sparks and has burnt down to the grown and burnt up Every thing but some five benches and a fure whinders sashs it is a grate lost to the people is was a fine Cuntry Church. 38 + 45 two starways hight the [[strikethrough]] people [[/strikethrough]] people are very poor and I dont know what thay will do it ware the best house in the fift distrect to hold our politcal meetings the Church would hoald some thre hundeard persons I would like you to inform me what will be the best to do for I dont know what to do for them I ware down to the last week and it was in a fince condiation come on finely pleas let me hear form you at your early conveant if the people can succede the keeping School in the privut house ware thay now have it what will do with Mr Ball the teacher
