Several buyers listed: Shadrack of Selby, Nathan of Selby, Peter of Selby, Frank of Selby, George of Selby, Cyrus of Selby, Guy of Selby, Ephraim of Selby, Meshack of Selby, Covt of Selvy, Nicey of Selby, Hager of Selby [Note: because these buyer were shown "of Selby" they were probably slaves who were freed by his will.] A few monetary disbursements to family are listed and "balance to the Negroes of William Selby agreeably to his will $3404.68". |
