Abstract To James Poulson, son of James, my Negro slaves Lucy & Rose & if Rose has to be sold to pay debts, then Lucy, who would be of no service to James poulson, Jr, have the liberty of choosing a home… To my Negro woman Lucy…My Negro boy Wilson & my Negro girl Agnes to be hired out during their term of service recorded in deed of manumission, as necessary topay debts. If not necessary, then Samuel Downing should have them during their term, he should give them freedom & clothes.
