Abstract To my two sisters Jane & Elizabeth Ewell during their lives all my estate & upon the death of both of my sisters I set free all the interest which is undivided in the slaves held in common between my sisietrs and myself & that our Negro men George & William shall each receive $30 & the residue after the death of my sisters, to the residue of my slaves. ...Since the making of my will, there have been several Negro Children born which were not freed in my will & to avoid all doubt relative to them, I do hereby set free all my slaves young & old now or which may hereafter be born... reserving to my sister Elizabeth Ewell her life estate in said slaves & upon her death they are to go free.
