Abstract My Negro women Pleasant & Litttia and man Edmund to be free if lawful for them to be free in the State of Virginia otherwise my will is for them to choose their master or mistress that will take them & they are willing to serve & that choice must be my widow or one of my children so that they remain in the family. If any of my slaves should ever be sold by either of my children or any person claiming from them, to any person who is not a resident of the County of Accomack, unless such slave will have committed & been convicted of some felonious offence, the slave so sold shall be immediately free.
