Abstract Sale of Negro. Mary Cox, for the sum of 6 shillings paid by her daughter Elizabeth and for the love and good will which she has for her daughter Elizabeth Henderson (now wife of William Henderson) and for the further consideration of the maintenance of the said Mary Cox during her lifetime, Mary sells Negro wench Beck and Negro girl Priscilla. At the death of Elizabeth, Mary gives Negro girl Priscila to her granddaughter Sarah Cox Henderson (if she survives her mother) and the Negro wench Beck to granddaughter Rachel Handy Coulbourne (if she survives her mother). Also to Elizabeth all of Mary's goods and chattels that are now in the possession of William Henderson and also 1/3 of her cattle hogs and corn.
