Abstract Sale of Negro. Mary Cox, for the sum of 6 shillings paid by her daughter Sarah and for the love and good will which she has for her daughter Sarah Fleming (now wife of John Fleming) and for the further consideration of the maintenance of the said Mary Cox during her lifetime, Mary sells Negro woman Eby, Negro girl Leah, Negro girl Jenny, Negro boy Adam. After the death of Sarah, Mary gives the Negroes to Sarah's now children. Mary also gives to Sarah all the goods and chattels that John Fleming has in his possession and Mary also gives 2/3 of her cattle, hogs and corn.
