Abstract Between the Justices of the Peace and Zadok W. Bowen for apprenticeship of Mary Ann Williams, 6 yo on 7 Feb next and daughter of Robert Williams, Negro of indigent circumstances, until 7 Feb 1859 when 16 yo. With father's approbation to learn the art of housewifery. She is to be provided with sufficient meat, and drink, clothing & lodging during her term; at expiration of term to receive 2 suits of wearing apparel - one for Sunday and the other for working days.
