Abstract Between Justices of the Peace & Zadok W. Bowen, farmer, for apprenticeship of Charles W. Williams, 3 yo son of Robert Williams [likely Negro] and of indigent circumstances. With approbation of his father, he is to apprentice to learn the art of farming until 16 Nov 1867 at age 21 yo. He is to learn art of a farmer and receive sufficient meat, drink, lodging & clothing during his term and at end of service to receive 2 suits of wearing apparent - 1 for Sunday & the other for working days or $10 cash.
