Abstract of Record Moses Fleming, free negro boy 8 yo in July 1831-as near as his mother can recall, son of Matty Fleming, free negro & a pauper, apprenticed to J. S. Hill until 21 yo. To learn art of a farmer. Suitable to his condition during the time aforesaid & at the expiration thereof shall receive a freedom suit suitable to wear on Sundays worth $10.
