Abstract of Record Laura Anne Fletcher, 7 yo on 20 March instant, daughter of Simon Fletcher alias Gould and Rose his wife [free negroes] who are of indigent circumstances and with their consent, apprenticed to Andrew Wilber Anderson until 20 March 1831 when 18 yo. To learn art of common laborer; at expiration of term to receive two good suits of clothes, one suitable for Sundays. "Signed" by Simon and Rose Fletcher, alias Gould, with their marks.
