Abstract of Record With the consent of his grandmother Patience Hinton, negro James Pinket 10 yo on 15 Jun 1827 last, apprenticed to William Game [likely free black], a farmer. He should be taught to read the Scriptures and to learn craft of farmng in the different branches thereof. When free, to receive suit of clothes worth $8 or that amount in current money which apprentice may choose.
