Text Orphans Court appointed William Russum and Charles Venables appraisers to report on the real estate of John Bowland, orphan in the care of Isaac Dryden his guardian. 10 June 1808 appraiser report there are slaves Joe, Paul, Lewey, Dinah, Sarah with four children, Abe, Denwood, Lyddia and Esther; Gatty, 180 acres of woods, one old round log dwelling 15 by 15 feet plank roof, one old born house, one old smoke house, annual value of lands and slaves L42. Dated 2 May 1809
