Message Abstract | Desire a good teacher to be sent them, and one willing to teach both day and night. Say that board bill of former teacher has been paid, and provisions are made for the one in anticipation. No. of pupils there 30. |
Message Body | We the undersigned Trustees of Forktown, Colored School, request you to send us a Teacher as we now have thirty (30) scholars waiting to attend. We want a good teacher, better than the last, who will teach a night school for the benefit of those who can not attend during the day. The board of the last teacher is now paid up and a boarding place is now provided for another. Please attend to this at once.
