Message Abstract Forwards deed of school lot at Broad Neck, Kent Co. Md. Respectfully referred to Genl H. M. Whittelsey, A.A.A. Genl., with request that an appropriation of $300.00/100 be made for the erection of a school building at Broad Neck, Kent Co. Md. [[checkmark]] [[signature]] W L Van Derlip [[/signature]] Respectfully [[/stamp]] referred to Bt. Lt. Col. [[underlined]] J. M. Brown [[/underlined]] Chief Quartermaster Bureau R. F. & A. L. for examination By order of Bt. Maj. Gen. [[underlined]] O O Howard [[/underlined]] The enclosed deed has been examined as directed, and is believed to comply substantially with the requirements of Bureau regulations. Attention is invited to the fact that the deed does not appear to have been recorded. In view of this fact it is suggested that this conveyance might be destroyed and a new one made in the form provided by the Bureau. It is understood that Maj. Van Derlip has on hand a supply of the necessary blank forms. The papers are respectfully returned to Bvt Brig Genl. Henry M.
