Message Abstract | Request aid for building School House. State that they have eighty pupils, and their school-house is only 14 x 16 ft. Also request to be furnished with a teacher, as the one they have at present is about to leave. |
Message Body | We the Trustees of the colored School of Tyaskin deam it necessary to have a new school house. The present School consisted of eighty three scholars, the house being only fourteen by sixteen and is unfit for us being without plaster. Our teachers time being expired We would like you to send us another at an early period. |
