Message Body | Sir I ^write^ to let you no that I Received your letter yesterday the 25 to late to Send A letter to ^you^ untell Monday you wanted to no [[strikethrough]]if[[/srikethrough]] What has become of our teacher now I thought that you no that our teacher came to this place the 22 of october and Stayed [[strikethrough]] unt [[/srikethrough]] untell the 29 of November at Which time She was ordered to leave By Mrs Lowell the lady that Sent her here She then went some where in State of verginia She was taking away because we didnot have as many Schollars As She wanted we only had 17 But we wouldof had A larg School by this time - But we Could not Keep her un that account our teacher was Much pleased and Regreted to Leave us very much and we thought much ^of her^ But we are without teacher now and Cannot tell whether will git one this Season or not She talks of Sending us A nother teacher in the New year but Cannot Say whether She will or not |
