Transaction Abstract $192 paid by Thomas LeCompte to Thomas J. Dail, administrator of William Wingate, for Negro woman Jane Henry and her child Amelia 6 or 8 mos. Jane to serve as slave until 1 Jan 1865 & then to be free, Amelia to serve until age 35 yo and then to be free. Jane & Amelia were sold by Thomas J. Dail, administrator, due to order of Orphans Court 14 Dec 1858. Jane was manumitted by Wingate on 15 May 1851 and Dail being entitled to Jane and girl for the time herein. Signed 3 May 1860.
