Transaction Abstract Indenture made 30 Dec 1847 between Jackson & Rawleigh & recorded in Liber W.J. No 2 folio 400-401. In consideration of $500 Rawlegh sells to Jackson: boy Jinkins 18 yo , woman Emily 25 yo & her child Maria 18 mos. old with proviso that if Rawleigh pays Jackson $500 before 1 Jan 1848 this is void. Since Rawleigh has fully paid Jackson this sum then this releases the above mentioned mortgage on slaves.
