Charges: Salisbury Circuit, Md; Asbury, Atlantic City, Charles Wesley, Centreville, Md; Saint Marks, Montclair, N.J.; Zoar, Philadelphia, Youth Work for General Board of Education secretary, Chicago; & secretary of Conference Boards of Missions. Active in International Council of Religious Education. Accomplished variety of improvements at various charges. Led new Dover District in 1931.
Family and Other Information Parents: William Frederick Butler & Mary Elizabeth Butler, their youngest chlld. Spouse: Estelle Houston, married early in his ministry; she is youngest daughter of Solomon T. & Maria Houston of Salisbury, Md. Survived by wife.
