Abstract An Indenture made between the Overseers of the Poor and Henry B. Custis to carry out an order made in County Court dated 27 July 1812 to bind Solomon (a free Negro boy) son of Leah until the age of twenty one, unto Henry B. Custis who will provide sufficient Meat, Drink, Washing, Lodging, Wearing Apparel and the trade of a Farmer also pay him Twelve Dollars at the expiration of the said time.
