Abstract An Indenture made between the Overseers of the Poor and William Welburn Junior to carry out an order made in County Court dated 30 November 1812 to bind Negroe Boy Samuel orphan of Patience by Marshall until the age of twenty one, unto William Welburn Junior whho will provide sufficient Meat, Drink, Washing, Lodging, Wearing Apparel and the trade of a Farmer also pay him Twelve Dollars at the expiration of the said time.
