Abstract At death of my mother, I am entitled to.. & some Negroes which is to be for benefit of my daughter Frances E. Scherer (as long as she lives single) & my son Samuel Scherer during his minority. When Samuel becomes of age, the lot & Negroes sold & proceeds to my daughter Charlotte Ann Bell, George N. Scherer, Mary H. Jarvis, Frances E. Scherer & Samuel Scherer, the Negroes to choose their masters & not be sold from Richmond or its vicinity as I feel unwilling to part man & wife & children.
