Abstract To Christabella Rodgers my interest in slaves held by my step mother Rachel Scarburg &… If my sister Sarah Rodgers should out live me & wish t buy land with my money she is at liberty to do it & dispose of the land as she wishes at her death & the reaining money & Negroes to my brother Asa J. Rodgers, my nephew John Read & my niece Sarah E. Read. None of my Negroes shall ever be sold. If my brother, nephew & niece all die without issue then my Negroes to be free.
