Abstract …To my son John P. W. Kellam the land I bought… & slaves Thomas, Zadock, Dama, Southey, Sally, Liddy, Arinthia, & also John at the death of my wife. Should he depart this life before arriving at age 21 & without heirs then the land to my two sons… & the slaves to my two daughters Eliza Kellam...& Eveline C. J. Kellam. To son Jonathan W. Kellam the remaining land...& slaves Gordon, Lucy, Fanny Sr., Betsy, Nelly & Alfred at the death of my wife & their increase. To my son Hanson P. Kellam as trustee for the use of my daughter Ann Eliza..., the property I purchased at her husband's sale & slaves Lily, James, William, George Sample, Shephard, Nanny & Arthur at the death of my wife & their increase. To my son Hanson P.A. Kellam as trustee for the use of my daughter Eveline C.J. Kellam slaves Abraham,Lewis, Plato, Kiah, Jane & her son Lewis, Ellen Rachel Jr., Elizabeth, George Satchell, Littleton & Rachel Sr. provided she does not marry without consent of my son Hanson..& if she does marry without such consent, the slaves to revert back to my estate, then to the rest of my children.
