| Abstract | â¦My son James & his guardian to let my slave Nanny remain in the house wherein she now lives on the land devised to my said son as long as she shall lives, free from charges for rent. ⦠My slaves Nanny and Simon to be maintained so long as they live. All my slaves not before mentioned I leave to my three children named herein.... The guardians to my children ad my extrs. are not to rent any of the lands, hire either of the slaves nor sell any of my property to Thomas A. Gibbons (of Henry), William H. Gibbons, John E. Gibbons & Thomas A. Gibbons under any circumstances whatever. .... If the lands are bought, I give the same to my son Joseph. Extrs. to pay each of my slavesof age fifteen and above $5 each. |
