Abstract My man George to be free after serving the present year. Sell all my land in the two respective lots…& purchase a Negro boy named Arthur (on whom I have a claim of $100 & the balance of the interest on the boy to be for the benefit of Caroline Hope & child) if he can be purchased for a fair market price & if he is purchased, then he is to be free. If the boy cannot be purchased for the sole purpose of being freed, my extr, shall not give more than $700 for him & then I give William Laws all my estate.
