Abstract … My Negroes to be free on conditional they will go away when their time is out, except if the law chages in their favor. Their time as follows: Negro man Denward's to be up in 1844, Peter's in 1849, my girl Rachel's in 1851, my girl Jane's in 1853, my boy Smith's in 1858, their times all ending at New Year's day. to son Edward T. B. Holland the hire of Negroes Denward, Peter, Rachel & Jane. ... Son William Holland to have the hire of Smith until his time is out.
