| Abstract | â¦. My Negro slaves to be divided agreeably between my children after assigning dower therein to my wife but with the express condition that if at any time either of said slaves or their increase shall be sold or carried off the Eastern Shore of Virginia for no cause of disobedience, they shall have a positive right to his or her freedom & I hereby declare such slave to be free at the moment such slave shall be sold or carried off the Eastern Shore of Virginia. I direct that George & Mary who are bound to me shall serve my wife until they are free. |
