Abstract To my slave man George his liberty and freedom from slavery immediately after my decease. Also to said George…& a house & lot of ground where George Fosque now resides. My 2 old Negro women Leah & Matthew to have their freedom & be at liberty & that my estate furnish and provide for them 150 pounds of pork... My man Arthur (bequeathed to me by my brother William & who has one year to serve) to have his freedom and liberty & have his farm working implements. the following persons bequeathed top me by my brother William viz: Sonon, Levin, Jack, Edmund, Willaby, James, Southey, Wilson, Lewis, Rose, Sinah of Rose & Isaac, all have their freedom at full expiration of the time provided by their former master William E. Custis in his will. Also Abram who was given to me by my brother William, ..., shall pay up his arrearages so as to be on a like footing with his fellows. Codicil: Sell my Negro girl Sarah, who I purchased from Samuel W. Milburn, & her child Tom to her husband Levin Medad (son of Levin) for $350 payable in 18 months.
