Abstract To son Nathaniel F. Conquest the followinfg slaves for the term of years amentioned & after they have serevd their terms they shall be free & as they become free he to pay their passage to a Free state provided the laws comels them to go away. Ader until she is age 40 & her increase until thye are 30. Charles, Alfred & Henry until they are 35. Harriet & Mary until they are 35 & theri increase until they are 30. To my son Richard Conqest my slave Oliver until he is 35 & then to be free & to pay his passage to a Free State. To my granddaughter Mary P. Conquest my slave Elizabeth until she is 35 & then to be free & her increase to be free at 30 & to pay their passage to a Free State. My slaves Isaac & Ann to be free but should they and the law on account of their age refuse their freedom, then they have their choice among my children whom they will serve. My extr. to hire out my slaves Henry (Sr.), Robert & George until they are 35 & then they are to be free & my slaves Margaret & Hetty until they are 35 & theri increase until they are 30 & then they are all to be free & that my Extr. pay their passage away otu of the proceeeds of their heirs & that he hire my slaves out in a manner they may think that will be most conducive to their being well treated & that he annually pay over ( after deducting compensation for the trouble of hiring them out) to my sons Nathaniel, Joseph & Edward & my daughters Hetty & Mary the net amount of their hires.
