| Abstract | Indenture. That whereas John Brittingham, for and in consideration of Leah Brittingham (wife of John) selling and disposing of her land and applying the money to the discharge of all debts of the said John contracted before the date hereof as also for the consideration of one shillings; John conveys to LIttleton Dennis the following: a Negro boy named Henry and all the stock of creatures and all his personal estate. That the said Littleton Dennis shall stand possessed of the said Negro and other estate for the use and benefit of the said Leah Brittingham for and during her natural life and at her death, for any use she may apoint or direct. |
