Abstract Jeremiah Rhodes to negro Tom alias Thomas Lucas - leases the house and ground where Tom lives for a term of 7 yrs, commencing 1 Jan next - pt of Rhodes' farm, cont. 5 or 6 acres. Rhodes to find old bricks for a chimney on Tom's house - tom has permission to get firewood and rails for keeping in repair the crop fences, by Rhodes' direction and the first year to plant 100 peach trees - to keep an orderly and peacable family on the plantation and take in no other than his own and pay annually £7.10.0 rent.
