The Delaware Conference was the African-American conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church that included the geographic area of the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Delaware and Virginia, as well as parts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. It later became part of the Peninsula-Delaware Conference of The United Methodist Church.

This 1867-1965 listing “Roll of Deceased Ministerial Members of the Delaware Conference” was copied from the 1965 edition of the Official Journal and Year Book of the Delaware Annual Conference of The Methodist Church. It contains the name and year of death of each minister of the Conference, as well as the year he was received into the ministry and his place of residence at time of death.

Conference Journals (some not complete or missing) are available online at https://www.barrattschapel.org/archives--library.html. The Journals contain extensive information about the people and numerous activities of the Conference.
