This source contains the baptisms, births, confirmations, and funerals of both enslaved and free Black people in Coventry Parish (Somerset County) between 1742 and 1896. Information in this source includes the names of these individuals, their parents' names, and slaveowner's names. This source has been abstracted from the Coventry Parish Church Records 1703-1899 from Somerset County, Maryland which was originally transcribed by Jody Powell. The original transcription can be found at the Nabb Research Center (F 187.S7R2v.6).
