| Abstract | Indenture between Isaac Gray & Leah Taylor on the one part & John T. Hickman of the other part. Gray & Taylor bind out their son Eben Taylor, 3 yo on 1 April next, to John T. Hickman until he is 21 yo, to learn trade of farming. He is to receive sufficient meat, drink, clothing & lodging during his apprenticeship & at expiration of term to receive 2 suits of wearing apparel, one suitable for Sundays & the other for working days. Notation by Mr. Isaac Gray & Leah Taylor, free Negroes, father & mother of Eben Taylor. |
