| Abstract | John H. I. Dennis, free Negro 13 yo on 2 January next, son of Fanny Dennis, free Negro of indigent circumstances & with her approbation, is apprenticed to George R. Dennis until 2 Jan 1860 when 21 yo, to learn art of farming. He is to be supplied with sufficient meat, drink, clothing & lodging during apprenticeship & at expiration of term shall receive suit of clothes to cost $24. |
