| Abstract | Hester Ann Johnson, free Negro, 6 yo on 10 August next, daughter of Rebecca Johnson, free Negro of indigent circumstances & with her approbation, is bound to Francis Mezick to learn art of handicrafts until 10 Aug 1861 when she will be 16 yo. Hester will be supplied sufficient meat, drink, clothing, & lodging during apprenticeship & when term expires will receive 2 suits of wearing apparel - 1 for Sundays & other for working days. Mother's consent is noted. |
