Abstract "having always abhorred slavery in every step I have freed all my negroes by executing as I apprehend proper manumissions" however should there be a problem with the manumissions," then Negroes boys to be free at age of 21 & girls free at age 18 & that executors should if necessary procure suitable places for the young children & to secure to them the opportunity of obtaining a little school learning. Instructions to executors include selling plantations in Talbot & part of the money used for providing for Negroes; the rest to go to Pennsylvania Hospital.
