Abstract Negro Henry, Negro boy John, negro man Cesar, negro boy Levin, negro women Laurena, Rachael Ann, now at Mrs. Hull's, negro girl Maria Francis, Evalina the children of negro woman Harriet, and negro women Ellen and her children in special trust and confidence that hold the same & their increase to and for the following uses, trusts and purpose: that he hire and dispose of the same, yearly and every year for the use & benefit of my son Horatio L. Edmondson during his natural life and no longer. That he pay to him yearly & every year the hire and profits of said negroes and the decease of my son Horatio. Peregrine Govner? surrender & deliver said negroes & their increase to my three grandhildren - Horace Edmondson, Charles Lowndes Edmondson & William Edmondson, children of my son Horatio L. Edmondson to be divided equally among them.
