Abstract negroes: Samuel, Perry, Mary Jane, Silas, Alexine, Mitchell, Maisa, Edith, Henry, Charles, Medford, Matilda Jane, William Murray and any other negroes which I may die possessed of, one-third of the above negroes mentioned to my beloved wife during her life and at her deceased to my two children Thomas & Laura, and the other 2/3 to my children Thomas & Laura. It is my will & desire that negroes belonging to my children or who may fall to them by death of my wife, shall remain as joint property and their wages along with rent of my land, be applied to education and maintainance of my 2 children until my daughter is 18 yo. Then negroes to be eqully divided between them. if one child dies, the other inherits, if both die then negroes shall go free.
