Abstract my 2 Negroes Perry Banning and Morriss Cooper. Perry to serve until 1/1/1878 and then to be free at which time he will be 43 yo according to the age bought him for; Morris being a bound boy up to the age of 21 will be free at the end of the year 1868 which will appear to the reference to the indenture by which I hold him, a record can be found in Register's office of the county. If it so happen that my wife should die before the term of service of said negroes should be at an end and in that case they shall belong to and serve my son William H. Bruff for the balance of term above specified - Perry until 1/1/1878 and Morris during term he is bound. My son William being required to fulfull contract subsisting between Mary, Morriss' mother and myself in which I promised to pay her a small sum of money every year during servitude of her son.
