| Abstract | Thomas G. Holland, farmer, assigns free negro Henry Jolly, alias Henry Clay Benson, aged 16 yo on 28 November 1852, to Matthais Merrick of Talbot County. Henry Jolly alias Henry Clay Benson was bound by the Dorchester County Orphans Court to Thomas G. Holland, 22 November 1852. After running away, he was ordered to serve an extra year for bad behaviour. |
