Abstract On 13 Nov., 1849, Jane Mezick, by John W. Crisfield, her attorney, filed petition; states that John Disharoon, in his will, directed to sell negro man Robert into the Huffington family & the money to go to this petitioner; she is in straitened circumstances & needs the money; asks court to summon James Disharoon, exe., to answer petition. [Several appearances for case] James Disharoon appears, by Wm. W. Handy, his attorney; files answer. States most of petition correct, except that negro man Robert is sickly & about 43 or 40 years old, & not worth $600. Court orders sale of negro Robert.
