Receipt Abstract James Lowery, who intermarried with Levisa Kennerly widow of Ovil Kennerly, received from Edward Fowler, acting administrator of Ovil Kennerly, negroes Harry at $300, Leah at $325 and Sam at $200 and other sums making the aggregate $1813.75 being for his wife's distribution and money due her as guardian to her children. From 1 Jan 1838 account, mentins son Ovail Kennerly died since this father. Wit: Isaac Leonard, J.P. Filed 12 Oct 1836.
